Remove Progression Grade Ladders

Summary:

Client originally wanted GSP, now a month after go live wants it turned off. Any recommendations on the best way to do this?

They currently use Grades with five steps. I have Grades, Grade ladders and Progression Grade Ladders set up. There are about 400 ladders created.
