Open for sourcing opportunities

Hello,

I was wondering if any of you knows what opportunities you have when you select the status "Open for Sourcing" to a job requisition. I do know that you use the Open for Sourcing to add candidates as prospects and send them an invitation to apply to the job requisition; but is there anything else?
