How to delete Temporary Assignment Record

We want to delete the temporary assignment record which was created by mistake.

User has selected 'Temporary Assignment' instead of 'assignment Change' Action. Temporary Assignment created another assignment record. User has realised the mistake and now want to delete Temporary Assignment.
