Select User Person Type Value in Worker Type field While Creating a Job Requisition?

Summary:

If we have the need as an organization to create a user person type of 'associate' for the system person type 'Employee' then is it possible to modify the values that appear in the Worker Type drop-down selection in the details section when creating a requisition?

Or instead is mapping to system person type of Employee and Contingent Worker the intended functionality?
