Workflow only for Direct hire an employee but not for convert

Hi Team,

Same workflow triggers for both convert from pending worker to employee and Direct hire an employee. We want to send the approval flow only for direct hire and not for convert from PWK to EE. If someone uses the "convert" action from Pending Workers - we want those to auto approve. Please help me configure this.
