Reporting on real trends in headcount by hierarchy excluding impacts of reorganisations

We need to provide headcount trend data to our business leaders and managers for their respective organisation without the impact of reorganisations being visible in the trend.

When using the current reports and dashboards that we have enabled in HCM to provide headcount trend data to our business leaders and managers the trend data shows fluctuations related to reorganisations.
For example, if a department of people moves from one business leader to another, this increase/decrease will be seen in the trend data for those respective leaders. In reality this is a reorganisation and they would like to see the trend going back in time based on the current organisation with the reorganisation not visible in the historical data.
