Facing Error when exporting to excel using the formatted option

Summary:

When I export reports from OTBI into excel using the formatted option I receive errors stating 'We found a problem with some content in 'File Name'. This then only opens the file in a 'repaired' state.

Could this have to do with Oracle exporting using Excel2007? I believe my company is using 2016 or later.
