Is there any automation for Entity Transfers?

We have in several countries multiple legal employers. If we want to transfer an employee from one legal entity to another, all the information is associated with the assignment/work relationship has to be reentered. Although only the legal employer meaning a small piece of information changes, all the other information is not transferred automatically to the new work relationship.
 

Is there anyway to automate this process? For example a copy functionality?
