Cycle Count Parameter-Maximum Days Before Late

Hello Experts

While setting up Cycle Count, there is a parameter called "Maximum Days Before Late". I am not sure how it works?

I know it sets the due date for count sequence. But if that due date passed, I still see the count sequence appear on UI "Record Cycle Count Sequence" and in "Print Cycle Count Listing Report"

I am trying to schedule to run daily "Print Cycle Count Listing Report" which is ONLY due today to count but I see all other count which is NOT counted, and due date passed still appears.

Can anyone throw some insight that? I know manually I can run the report with today's date. Ultimately, I would like NOT to see expired count sequence on UI "Record Cycle Count Sequence".
