HCM Security - Roles

Summary:

We are in the midst of reviewing our roles and the access we give our HR teammates, and we would like to understand how other Oracle clients setup roles within their environment.

How are other companies setting up custom roles? Do you set them up based on job title or area (benefits, recruiting, salary, payroll, etc)? Or do you use the seeded roles and use AORs & security profiles to secure the data?
