Action_Name and Action_Reason not shown in "Manage Directs" transaction details
Summary
This article is an explanation of why Action_Reason and Action_Name are not present in transaction details for "Manage Directs" transactions, along with information on how to add these columnsContent
When reporting on transactions, the seeded "PersonHeader Subtemplate" template in "Shared Folders/Human Capital Management/Workflow Notifications" is used to display the Name and Reason of the Action for the transaction. However, for "Manage Directs" transactions, it does not display the Action Name and Reason. This is because the "Manage Directs" transaction is simply a container for one or more "Change Manager" actions, and the "subject" of these "Change Manager" actions is the employee who is having their manager changed, not the manager upon whom the "Manage Directs" action is being taken.
