Customize the Workflow notification

Hello All,

 

We have an requirement to customize the Workflow notification.

I have seen a document which says using page customization we can but there are some limitations in that, i wanted to insert a table with the details which i could not do.

 

Also i found there are Seeded BI reports for each of the approval process but i am not understanding when will this notification trigger because currently we are not receiving the mail as in the template.

Do i need to do configuration for the BI report template to trigger instead of the current notification mail.
