Change the start date of an employee without performing any change in the enrollment date or CWR

Summary: Currently to enter a start date change, we must remove the Benefits enrollment, before we then must cancel the work relationship, then edit and reconvert the person. Is there any easier way to change a start date that will change all the start dates? Included the seniority date?
