Journal unexpectedly reversed in AutoReverse job.

Content (required):

User manually created a reversal journal by selecting Batch Actions - Reverse and then realized that it was the wrong journal that was reversed. User deleted the reversal journal. Later, the original journal unexpectedly reversed when a scheduled AutoReverse Journal job ran. In testing, we found that the Reversing Period on the original journal remained, even though the manually created reversal journal was deleted. Is there a way to delete the manually created reversal journal so that the original journal does not autoreverse?
