How to add creator as CC on workflow notifications

Is there a way to add the creator/submitter of a workflow transaction as a CC on workflow notifications?

Content (required):

We are looking to increase the transparency of workflow activity in Oracle HCM. Although users can visit the 'Things to Finish' area and BPM to track workflow activity, we would like the system to be more proactive in regards to keeping the creator/submitter up-to-date on the workflow status as it moves toward completion. One way we were thinking of doing this is CCing the creator on the workflow notifications as the workflow moves through the various workflow stages (Assign, Request Info, Approval Reminders, etc.). Is there a way to achieve this?
