How to update Employment Contract Types dropdown.

We are using employment contract types to capture information. In the drop down of "Type" we have a list of names that we can chose from. How do we update these contract types to expand the list.

I entered into Manager Employment Contract Lookups but adding the values here did not update the list on the UI page. Is there a step missing ?
