Detailed reporting on Recruitment status

Summary:

We need a report that will capture the time it takes for a requisition to move from one requisition status to the next. We have a customized field called Recruitment status which shows long listing, interviewing etc. but i am not sure if we can get the timeframe based on this custom field. Otherwise, how do we go about this as we need to know how long a req stays in advertizing, then screening, etc until it gets filled.
