Best Practice for Associations for Rehires on Calculation Card

Summary:

When someone is Rehired, our Payroll Practitioners have just been adding the new Assignment to the existing Association. We are wondering if this is really the best practice? Or should the existing Association be End Dated? And a new Association be created for the new Assignment?
