Upload PO and Retainage amount without invoice

Hi

Is there a way to upload PO and it's retainage amount without creating the standard invoice against this PO? The purpose is to convert the PO from legacy application, and we plan to upload only the PO remaining amount that not yet invoiced. However, since there is retainage on this PO, the retainage amount will be incorrect if we upload only the remaining balance.
