Expired lots displayed in Dependent Demand but not in Total Demand

When looking at the material plan, we can see that there is a dependent demand but within the same bucket, it is not displayed in the total demand.

We happened to see that this demand is a lot to expire at the end of the month, which is this bucket.

This is confusing to read, even more, some users use a summary table where only the total demand measure is displayed, not the dependent measure.

Is it a standard behavior? Is there a way to display it in the total demand?
