Any alternate approach where we can use single HSDL template to end existing Valid Grade on Position

Summary:

Hi All,

We are noticing that old Valid Grades on Positions are not getting end dated, when Positions are updated with new Job and Valid Grade via HSDL and as a result we are seeing two Valid Grades on the Position (old valid grade as well as new valid grade).

But when we update a Position through UI, we are seeing that the old valid grade is getting end-dated and the latest effective record shows only new Valid Grade on Position, which is working as expected but this behavior is not seen when using HSDL for updates.

Position Update HSDL template does not support passing effective end date to the old valid grade hence we had to develop a new HSDL template to end date the old valid grades.
