Updated name after a name change does not reflect correctly in the search area

Updated name after a name change does not reflect correctly in the search area

Steps:
- Search for the person
- Initiate a name change in Person Details page. Change gets updated successfully when accessed in Person Management
- Go back to Person Details, do not search the person again. The Search field still shows the old name from the list of suggestions in recent items.
Is there a way for the system to refresh the suggestion with the updated name? I understand it can possibly be done via clearing cache but we would like to know if there is anything in the system that can be configured to refresh the search.
