The Candidate Can't Receive Emails Because Email Isn't Set As Their Preferred Communication Channel

Just want to ask help on how to disable the "preferred method of communication as mobile". Candidate should see email only.
I tried to check some oracle docs about this but to solution offered was thru Conversion. Is there a way to disable in manually? is it still part of Recruiting Cloud?
