 Can a certain payment method be restricted from being revised in Manage Installment?

Content (required):

We understood that Payment Method on "Manage Installment" can be edited and selected from the drop down list before the invoice is getting selected for payment process request. Is there any way to prevent AP user from revising a certain payment method only. For example, if "direct debit" payment method is defaulted at supplier site, AP user cannot override such payment method at AP invoice "Manage Installment".
