Can we Remove a Characteristic Value From deciding Disposition of an Inspection
Summary:
Hi - We are performing an adhoc inspection, Where a quality inspector is verifying various characteristic and finally it is up to the cognizance of the inspector to decide whether he/she will raise a Quality issue or just want to notify to a Quality supervisor. So what we have decided is to create a last characteristic in an inspection plan where Quality inspector will choose what he wants to perform and value what we entered in that characteristic should not decide the disposition of the inspection.
Now the problem is: If we create a LOV in that characteristic then we have to give mandatory Target value in that and if we give target value then when the result does not match to target value then inspection is getting rejected. Now if we dont create LOV in that characteristic then we are not getting any option to design our action rule accordingly as mentioned above. Below screen shot is of a characteristic where LOV is not available.
