Implications of switching an activity from Required to Optional in a course

Hi there,

I wonder what would be the implication in the following case.

We have a bunch of courses that include one theory activity and one assessment activity.

With the old setup, all activities were by default required.

Now, with the new activity sequencing feature, we can decide to have one required and one optional activity.

I want to hear from someone with a similar experience. What would happen if we switch the Theory activity to be Optional and leave the Assessment as Required.
