Matrix manager restriction to only one per assignment

Summary:

The supervisor type is defined using the LOOKUP TYPE of PER_SUPERVISOR_TYPE, which appears in Manage Employment page for a particular assignment of an employee. However, if I want to restrict the number of managers that I can add of a particular type in this page. Can anyone recommend how can this be achieved, because I couldn't find such functionality in Fusion HCM 19B release.

I have raised an IDEA on this topic and would need everyone's help to vote and recommend this solution, as this is a pain point.
