23B- Assignment Standard Working Hours field

Hello
I have regarding new field Assignment Standard working hours introduced in 23B.
We already have Standard working hours field which already editable though we have derived values from work structure objects., then why the new field has introduced .
this will create a confusion with end users i think if we enable both fields.
Not sure anyone has come across this question after upgrading to 23 B.
