Alerts Composer Message Template Question

Summary:

I have a requirement to send an employee's person EEF data in the message body of alerts composer- This is in person_extra_information table in columns PEI_INFORMATION2, PEI_INFORMATION3, and PEI_INFORMATION4. Is this possible? I can see we can use custom SQL for filtering, but I was wondering if retrieval from a SQL is possible on Message Template. Reference to any documentation would be appreciated.

We already have a worker termination alert in place with termination information being using the message template, but users would like to add additional information described above. I understand we can use BI alternatively, but we would rather enhance current alerts composer if possible.
