DFF: Description is not shown in a Drop-down list display type

Summary:

We have a table-validated value set that is attached to a DFF. Both the Description Column Name and Value Column Name in the value set are populated. The DFF is set as Drop-down List in the display type. During transaction, we can only see the value column name but it does not include the description. When display type is List of Values, the description is shown. Is there a way for the Drop-down to display the description as well, similar to how List of Values display type behaves?
