Alternate Location Names feature expected Functionality

Summary:

Can anyone please confirm the ALTERNATE LOCATION NAMES feature functionality which is introduced as a part of 23B.

We have configured the setup as per the oracle document. Not sure why the values in the drop down , while searching the location on career site, are getting populated in different languages instead of English only.
