How Position Manager Functionality works during Hire an Employee

Summary:

Hi Team,

I have created a Position (POS1) with Manager (MGR1). At Enterprise Level Enabled Position Synchronization and selected Manager as 'Use Position Manager'.

During Hire, I used same Position (POS1), but Manager (MGR1) is not auto populated in Assigned Manager Section. Please let me know how to populate Position Manager under Manager section.
