Under set up and Maintenance Manage bank accounts, we are using 4 revenue and 4 drawings accounts. we provide access under the security tab for business users to access.

We have recently had a question from a user that only has inquiry access. the user cannot view accounts receivable receipts. we have the same thing with users accessing payments. the user can see the payment in the invoice area but cannot drill down. can anyone advise why this additional layer of security is added for transactions directly hitting the bank? and any risk to adding to an inquiry user? we did a bit of testing by adding the bank access to the inquiry user and they didnt seem to be able to edit/create receipts in AR.
