Candidate received "draft" notification 2 weeks after finalizing job application - why?
We recently had a candidate reach out and let us know that they received a notification to continue their application almost 2 weeks after they had already finalized and submitted their application. We looked into the email template they received, and determined that it was the "follow-up" template, not the initial draft notification template that was sent. We then checked the "Send Draft Application Reminder Notifications and Automatically Confirm Applications" scheduled process during the timeframe they received the notification to ensure there were no fails or blips, and we did not find a single error or warning status.
With this situation being as it is, we cannot think of a logical explanation as to why a follow-up draft notification would have been triggered 13 days after the candidate finished and submitted their application (yes, they only had one application, and yes the notification is confirmed to belong to the same req title and ID as the application they fully submitted). Any thoughts/suggestions on how this could happen or what we may be missing here?
