Query wrt Interview reminder/feedback reminder notification from alert composer

Summary:

With regards to the above in ORC, can someone please tell me when are these reminders actually sent?

Content (required):

Are these sent 1 hour/1 day before the interview start time/feedback expiry date?

These notifications are not triggering for me while testing. Do i need to schedule any ESS job? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
