'New User Created' Notification going out for Converted Workers when Offer is drafted during Rehire.

Issue:

  • For converted person records who in terminated state, there is no user account present. (meaning records of ex-employees that were loaded into Oracle Core HR during go-live)
  • When such workers are rehired, an user account is created when an offer is drafted (and assignment type O is created in the backend).
  • This triggers an email that is set to go out during the 'New User Creation' event.
  • This email should not go out for rehired persons.

Potential solution - Please review this and highlight any risk, or help provide us wit ha better solution.

  • Turn off the 'New User Created' Notification in Security Console
