Change Hire Date HDL

Hi guys, I'm trying to change some Employee hire dates to a date in the future via HDL, but I'm getting the following error msg. It's only happening to certain users, does anyone know why?


Error: "You can't change the primary work relationship's start date to after the secondary work relationship's start date."

SET PURGE_FUTURE_CHANGES N

METADATA|WorkRelationship|PeriodOfServiceId|PersonNumber|LegalEmployerName|NewStartDate

MERGE|WorkRelationship|XXXXXXXXX|XXXXXX|XXXXXXXX|XXXXXXXX


It's working for some users and not others, and I'm struggling to find out what the problem is.
