Approvals on Person Extra Information Types (Person EIT)

Summary:

We have created a Person Extra Information Type for capturing training. We would like employees and managers to be able to capture this data and we require a workflow approval rule to be enabled. I cannot find a workflow rule for Additional Person Info in the transaction console.

Is it possible to enable workflow approvals on Person Extra Information Types?
