How can I use "Inline Search" Display Type on the EFF field includes Dependent Value Set?

Hi,

A business requirement is that the EFF field's value set should be dependent to another value set.

However in that case the "Inline Search" display type does not work, the page gives an error.

How can we solve this problem? We need to use inline search on this field.
