Can I have text as an input for an intersection and use it in Narrative Reporting Reports

Can I have text as an input for an intersection and use it in Narrative Reporting Reports from a source system like epbcs?

I know we have the smart list but that is from the list of text, we have the option to select, is there a way, you can add text to an intersection instead of data?
