Form field trigger

Hi, I'm wanting to create a trigger in a form, when someone inputs a date that is less than 3 weeks away from the current date, then a error will come up (similar to the invalid erorrs) that notifies the submitter they need to select a date that is more than 3 weeks from today. Wondering what the code would be for the form HTML? or is there another way to do this. thank you
