Need to change action reason End Assignment as the Payroll Ascender ends due to this action reason

Summary:

Hi Team,

When we end a primary assignment through quick actions, it will then make another assignment primary. However, the action reason on the new primary assignment is “end assignment” which integrates to the payroll system as End assignment, ending the employment.

Is it possible to change the action reason of the newly made primary assignment so it is not end assignment? as the Payroll Ascender job ends since the action reason is End assignment
