can projects be used without financials?

Hello,

The customer wants to implement in a first phase the project management module, including project costing and billing, without implementing the financials module, and then implement financials module at a later phase. Is this possible?

Content (required):

Noting that there should be no accounting entries generated from projects to finance before the go-live of the financials module. Once the financials module is implemented we will be migrating the accounting open balances and thus we need to make sure that no entries were created in the previous period, and the accounting entries should start generating as of the go-live date.
