Tax Code is not automatically defaulting on Miscellaneous Receipts

When we enter Miscelleanous Receipts, the tax code is not getting automatically defaulted and has to be manually entered by user.

When we enter Miscelleanous Receipts, the tax code is not getting automatically defaulted and has to be manually entered by user.

We have defined the Tax Rate as the default rate and even enabled it under Application Options.
