Is it possible to have one date for Seniority Date and not be affected by other transactions?

Summary:

Does Oracle have the capability to have Seniority Dates unaffected by any Fast Formulas and/or assignment transactions? For example, we have a particular date that will always be with the employee, regardless of rehiring, transitioning to a Contractor, etc. However, we are constantly chasing dates because of Fast Formulas/Oracle applying rules on these Seniority Dates.

We are looking for the ability to apply one date to an employee, regardless of number of past assignments and assignment transactions. History isn't relevant for our case.
