How can we change the Contract Number pattern for employee while hiring?

Hello Experts,

We have Employment Model as Single Assignment with Contracts.

And currently while hiring, we are getting Contract Number as CONTXXXXX.

We want to change this pattern to simple numbers rather than CONTXXXXX.

Kindly suggest if anyone has changed this earlier.
