Description (Required):

Provide a standard set of cryptographic functions that can be used directly from integration flows.

Use Case and Business Need (Required):

Some systems (for example, Oracle BlueKai) require URL parameters and/or HTTP headers that are generated using a cryptographic function (in the BlueKai example, a URL parameter that is signed using HMAC SHA-256). It would be better if this function was built into OIC rather than having to rely on external JavaScript libraries, some of which will not work with OIC's internal JavaScript engine.
