How to default value in DFF with read only option based on the value entered in seeded field?

We have a requirement to default a DFF value created in Disability page based on the value entered in Disability category seeded field. If users select a value in disability category, the DFF attribute should populate the value accordingly. Can anybody tell me how can we achieve this?
