How to add backdated record in the system

Summary:

We have employee record which was hired to Legal entity A on April 28, 2014 in the system. While load, they incorrectly imported the record in the system. Now, they wanted to correct the record with following scenario.

Employee was hired to Legal entity B on April 28, 2014.Then transferred to Legal entity B on September 16, 2022. 

Could you please advise us how to correct the record in the system.
