Can descriptive flexfields be synchronised with position on Hire an employee screen?

We have created additional descriptive flexfields on Create Position screen.

When adding a position under the Employment Details section on Hire an employee, we would like that the descriptive flexfields highlighted synchronizes with the position selected and display their field values.

We have tried the following setup but it does not work:

Only Department, job and grade fields are being synchronized under the Employment Details section on the Hire an Employee screen.

Is there a way to synchronize the created descriptive flexfields when a position is added under the Employment Details section on the Hire an Employee screen?
